Not gonna lie, I literally found out about this female fronted metal band TODAY through a YouTube playlist and they were the 1st ones and I was pretty blown away. I saw the music video starts off with a pig mask and it just makes sense to include this band as today's Metal Band of the Day. Pardon the redundancy. I've listened to a couple of their songs already.  Naufrago ,  Saturno  and  Hocus Pocus  are pretty bangin'. From Yogyakarta, Indonesia is Baby Face Killer. They're a metalcore band with a pretty interesting sound. I found them just by browsing Youtube. I've listened to a few songs that I was able to get my hands on and I definitely dig them. Would have been a favorite had I found out about them in my teens years. This band doesn't seem to have a big social media presence, so yeah it was pretty hard to find some of their ACTIVE social media links. I highly recommend you check them out though! A real hidden gem! I picked "Rise" for this post but if you are looking for recent jams,  their music video for "Evidence" was posted a little over a year ago! French metal band of the day is Gojira! I'll admit, I have seen their name floating around from the entirety of my metal listening days I just never got around to actually listening to them in depth other than in passing. They have some killer songs! They kind of give me Lamb of God vibes which I totally dig. LOG was my first metal concert after all. I honestly didn't even know the guys were from France. My dumbass always assumed they were from the US. The more you know. Didn't think there was a good example of Canadian metal, eh? WELL THERE IS. I've been listening to Kataklysm for the better part of the past 10 years. In their career span they have like released like 14 studio albums! Yoooo. I haven't listened to their entire discography. I've been seemingly stuck in the Shadows and Dust - Serenity in Fire era. Here is one of my favorite songs from them. I still get hyped whenever this song pops up in rotation. I decided to get the most well known Swedish metal band out of the way to boost up underrated Swedish metal bands in the future. I LOVE Amon Amarth so I don't think this warrants much explanation. "Guardians of Asgaard" is forever one of my favorite metal jams. I decided to showcase a different song today though.  You'll either like if you like and don't if you don't. Yes, there is a such thing as metal coming from India. This was the first band I came across and they totally blew my mind! The man who started it all had very humble beginnings and worked hard to have the band that exists today. He self produced his own documentary a few years ago detailing how it all startedn along with the obstacles along the way. Very inspiring and I highly recommend you guys to watch it as it's entertaining and funny as hell too!  Raj Against the Machine  such a clever title! French metal band of the day is Eths. I honestly have not heard much of them before looking up other French metal bands. I must say, they do not disappoint. Female fronted band single in French (not all do) so this is extra beautiful to me. Enjoy!
