France: Gojira

French metal band of the day is Gojira! I'll admit, I have seen their name floating around from the entirety of my metal listening days I just never got around to actually listening to them in depth other than in passing. They have some killer songs! They kind of give me Lamb of God vibes which I totally dig. LOG was my first metal concert after all. I honestly didn't even know the guys were from France. My dumbass always assumed they were from the US. The more you know.

Yes, there is a such thing as metal coming from India. This was the first band I came across and they totally blew my mind! The man who started it all had very humble beginnings and worked hard to have the band that exists today. Japan: Necronomidol

Today's Japanese metal band of the day is Necronomidol. Yeah, I had to double check that too. I came across this band on Spotify back when I had Premium and just listened to a lot of Japanese metal recommendations for days. This was a new one that popped up for me and I was blown away.  They are apparently a metal idol group. Didn't know that was a thing. There's a lot of things I don't know. They seem to have a lot of lineup changes though. They are like a heavier and less mainstream version of Babymetal. I love Babymetal but Necronomidol totally kicks ass so please give them a chance and listen to a few of their songs!
