Japan: Necronomidol

Today's Japanese metal band of the day is Necronomidol. Yeah, I had to double check that too. I came across this band on Spotify back when I had Premium and just listened to a lot of Japanese metal recommendations for days. This was a new one that popped up for me and I was blown away. 

They are apparently a metal idol group. Didn't know that was a thing. There's a lot of things I don't know. They seem to have a lot of lineup changes though. They are like a heavier and less mainstream version of Babymetal. I love Babymetal but Necronomidol totally kicks ass so please give them a chance and listen to a few of their songs!

It was usually name dropped along the same sentiment when Rammestein came up but for some reason or another I just never sought out their music. India: Bloodywood

Yes, there is a such thing as metal coming from India. This was the first band I came across and they totally blew my mind! The man who started it all had very humble beginnings and worked hard to have the band that exists today. He self produced his own documentary a few years ago detailing how it all startedn along with the obstacles along the way. Very inspiring and I highly recommend you guys to watch it as it's entertaining and funny as hell too!  Raj Against the Machine  such a clever title! Enjoy this song hoping it will be the first of many you will hear from them!
