About This Blog

 Yo! I created this blog because I love music! Metal for the most part. I have varying taste in music (as everybody should) but metal has always been the dominate genre ever since I was in high school. Throughout the years especially in my early 20s I have introduced a lot of people to really cool and hella underrated bands. I've had at least 3 different people come up to me and say just how much they loved whatever bands I recommended to them and I'm hella cool for that. Okay, they didn't say that but I could tell that's what they were getting at!

Over the years I've had such an interest in music from other countries aside from the USA. There's fucking awesome metal bands here but there are also fucking amazing bands everywhere else. I just wanted to use this platform to share some pretty cool bands that I have either been listening to for a long time or if I just barely discovered them and think they deserve more attention. I try to be diverse across the genres and not only stick to melodic death metal (which is my ultimate favorite sub genre as you can tell!)

German metal band of the day is Oomph! I must admit, I was aware of the name of this band. It was usually name dropped along the same sentiment when Rammestein came up but for some reason or another I just never sought out their music. India: Bloodywood

Yes, there is a such thing as metal coming from India. This was the first band I came across and they totally blew my mind! The man who started it all had very humble beginnings and worked hard to have the band that exists today. He self produced his own documentary a few years ago detailing how it all startedn along with the obstacles along the way. Very inspiring and I highly recommend you guys to watch it as it's entertaining and funny as hell too!  Raj Against the Machine  such a clever title!
