Italy: Lacuna Coil

Today's Italian metal band of the day is Lacuna Coil. Sorry for putting such a mainstream band but they are pretty iconic and the great thing about it is that they are still making music to this day! From their humble beginnings starting in 1994 and they are still alive and kicking in 2023. Hella impressive. Even though they are not as popular as they used to be is really besides the point. Really though, popularity doesn't correlate to value. They still kick ass. 

This particular song was the first song I heard from them and believe it or not, it's still my favorite song from them because I love the eerie and haunting vibes it gives off.

It was usually name dropped along the same sentiment when Rammestein came up but for some reason or another I just never sought out their music. India: Bloodywood

Yes, there is a such thing as metal coming from India. This was the first band I came across and they totally blew my mind! The man who started it all had very humble beginnings and worked hard to have the band that exists today. He self produced his own documentary a few years ago detailing how it all startedn along with the obstacles along the way. Very inspiring and I highly recommend you guys to watch it as it's entertaining and funny as hell too!  Raj Against the Machine  such a clever title! Enjoy this song hoping it will be the first of many you will hear from them!
