Italy: Lacuna Coil

Image
Today's Italian metal band of the day is Lacuna Coil. Sorry for putting such a mainstream band but they are pretty iconic and the great thing about it is that they are still making music to this day! From their humble beginnings starting in 1994 and they are still alive and kicking in 2023. Hella impressive. Even though they are not as popular as they used to be is really besides the point. Really though, popularity doesn't correlate to value. They still kick ass.  This particular song was the first song I heard from them and believe it or not, it's still my favorite song from them because I love the eerie and haunting vibes it gives off. South Korea: Dreamcatcher

Today's South Korean band of the day is Dreamcatcher! Okay, technically not a band but this kpop group are practically the "face of rock" in kpop. While "Endless Night" is their most metal song to date, you can still enjoy their other heavily rock tunes some of my personal favorites are  No More ,  Don't Light My Fire ,  Eclipse ,  Good Night ,  Fairytale , and  Piri . Two members of the group sang a slow rock ballad,  Shadow  which also just so happens to be the outro to Dark Hole , a show that will be featured on my  HorrortizedTV  blog very soon! Today's band of the day is Eisbrecher. A band I only recently discovered through browsing the metal corners of Youtube. Love their sound so I hope you do too.   Band: Eisbrecher Song: Verrückt BAND LINKS: Facebook Instagram Twitter Youtube Linktree

Australia: Be'lakor

Hailing from Australia is Be'lakor. Not hard to pronounce it just say it out loud. You're probably right. Anyway, in my feeble mind I keep thinking they are relatively new but nope they have been in the music scene since at least 2004. To me it seems new because most of the metal bands in my constant rotation have originally formed in the 80s and 90s. Not really but it sure feels like it. I love Be'lakor. They have a very interesting sound. Not quite melodic death metal but still melodic death metal they just have a very atmosphereic doom-ish feel to their songs. I'm luckily into that kind of shit! Here is one of the newest releases "Hidden Window" BAND LINKS: Website Bandcamp Youtube Facebook Instagram Twitter

Indonesia: Revenge the Fate

It's very good to know how big of a metal scene is still evident in Indonesia. For today's Indonesian metal band of the day is yet another new discovery for this year and a very happy accident led me down to this band. Plenty of awesome jams from his band so, enjoy! Austria: Enclave

Today's Austrian metal band of the day is Enclave. They're a heavy and thrash metal band that formed in the early 2000s which hella surprised me as this gave me 80's Metallica vibes. Sooooo if you're into Master of Puppets era of Metallica then you will definitely like these guys. BAND: Enclave SONG: New Age Disorder BAND LINKS: Website Youtube Facebook Twitter Spotify

USA: Sevendust

Today's American metal band of the day is Sevendust! If you want to be technical they may not exactly be "metal" by certain people's standards and also depending on what album you're listening to. They're not soft at all, just want to make that clear but they do have plenty of slower and melodic ballads like "Angel's Son" (one of my favorites actually) but without a doubt they play a lot of heavy shit. Can you believe they are still kicking ass for nearly 30 years?! They're amazing, I remember seeing them live back in 2004ish when they toured with Ill Nino, Element Eighty, Life of Agony and Apartment 26. They are fucking amazing live!! As of this writing, this is one of their recent music videos that just came out! I love it, it has a Three Little Pigs vibe to it. Between me and you, my favorite Sevendust songs are Trust ,  Denial  and  Broken Down   Band: Sevendust Song: Fence BAND LINKS Website Youtube Facebook Instagram Twitter
