Ireland: Old Season

Today's band of the day is Old Season. They are a heavy metal band that formed in the early 2000s from Athy, Kildare in Ireland. I had a really good time jamming to their tracks, I even decided to buy one of their albums from their Bandcamp. If this is down your alley then you should too! Bandcamp is absolutely a great way to support metal bands. One of my favorite new discoveries for 2023.

It was usually name dropped along the same sentiment when Rammestein came up but for some reason or another I just never sought out their music. India: Bloodywood

Yes, there is a such thing as metal coming from India. This was the first band I came across and they totally blew my mind! The man who started it all had very humble beginnings and worked hard to have the band that exists today. He self produced his own documentary a few years ago detailing how it all startedn along with the obstacles along the way. Very inspiring and I highly recommend you guys to watch it as it's entertaining and funny as hell too!  Raj Against the Machine  such a clever title! Enjoy this song hoping it will be the first of many you will hear from them!
